Originally from Southern California, Dr. Yu went to UC Berkeley for undergraduate school while majoring in electrical engineering and computer science. After having a sports injury and being impressed by his orthopaedic surgeon, he decided to pursue a medical career and received a medical degree at University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine. His orthopaedic residency was done at Los Angeles County Hospital (also affiliated with USC) where he had to work 80 to 110 hours per week. Dr. McGee is an orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialty fellowship training in sports medicine. He specializes in arthroscopic and open treatment of shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle injuries. He also performs joint replacement surgery for arthritis of the shoulder, knee, and hip. In addition, he has had training in general orthopedic surgery and fracture care.

Van Nguyen, PA
Van Nguyen has been part of Total Sports Medicine and Orthopedics since 2020. She earned her Master of Physical Assistant Studies in 2019 from Touro University in Henderson, Nevada. Before Physician Assistant school, Van completed her Master of Science in Medical Health Sciences. Van received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences degree from California State University, Fullerton.
